A COMET Healthcheck is a tried and tested method of gaining insight to qualitative information on safety culture across your organisation, or across a section of the industry if conducted with some of your industry peers.At the heart of the Healthcheck are semi-structured conversations with a cross-section of personnel, including site management, operational functions, support functions, and contractors where appropriate. These conversations allow people to talk about their experiences and so build a picture of both challenges and best practices. The Healthcheck report anonymises and summarises these conversations and also blends in an assessment of supporting documentation and systems to make recommendations.
Each COMET customer has their own instance of the COMET software suite to which only they have access. Data security is of utmost importance due to the commercially sensitive nature of the data which COMET stores.However, since all COMET users’ data is in the same format and structure, should a group of COMET users in the same industry wish to collaborate to improve their risk intelligence through sharing data insights, it is possible for us to facilitate a collaborative project. This would put protocols in place to allow each COMET customer to grant us access to their COMET database for the purposes of creating anonymised aggregated data in dashboard environment to highlight similarities, differences and trends.
